Sick of Being Sick

I've been sick now for about 5 days. It's amazing how timely these colds can be. I was really in a good groove with my workouts/diet and was shedding a few pounds when this one hit.

It sucks having to be so sedentary while my body tries to shake the cold. I also tend to eat more when I'm sick than when I'm not. I think the schedule of my diet is closely tied to the schedule of my workouts. So when I'm not working out, I tend to be a little looser with my diet.

I also know it's going to be tough to get back into my workouts now, even considering how much I miss them. Those grooves are hard to find, so I hope I can find mine again quickly!

I'm starting to feel a little better today and may try a light workout tomorrow...we'll see

  1. I feel your pain. Mine lasted exactly a week and I'm still at the tail end of it with a runny nose. That cold hit me hard, they usually don't. Sucked. You will get back into it! We do have a weekend of fun coming up with probably not a lot of good food choices but just be choosey and you'll do fine. Lots of walking planned for Saturday and lots of rollar coaster rides =) Can't wait to see you!!

  2. I decided to rest a bit longer to make sure I'm over it. And since I'm probably going to be bad this weekend, I might as well just wait until next week to jump back in with both feet.

    In the meantime, family and roller coasters will do just fine :) See ya soon!!
