Results
I probably should have taken another rest day. I was exhausted and still sore from Wed workout. Even though this was short, it got the muscles burning and lungs hurting, so it couldn't have been all bad.
I kept the swings at about 12 reps and the shredders at about 11. Since I wanted to record the shredders, I didn't do them where I normally do (wouldn't be able to see). I wasn't sure if I had enough room so kind of got the "alligator arms" going....arms should be more extended.
I wasn't real happy with the way my swings looked either. I think I need to get more explosive with my hips. It is nice being able to see my form though, I'm glad I decided to record some of this stuff!

Yep, them shredders are definitely a good time! I'm sure I'll be feeling them tomorrow, even with just the one set.
ReplyDeleteWhat you're hearing in the background is the Rap music channel on Fios (which was the same as the one on comcast)....a nice alternative to the ipod on occasion, especially when I need to hear the gymboss timer.
I wish I could do them but with that pulled muscle right now, my abs aren't going to get any work. Hopefully the core work I'm doing will just take care of it for now! Nice, I like that. If I were you I'd always have the music going!!
ReplyDeleteHope your muscle heals soon!! But yeah, I'm sure most of the "non-ab" stuff you do engages your abs just plenty. By the way, I looked up floor wipers and I think they'll make it into my rotation...
